Amanda has been working with ABA Therapy Solutions since 2012 as a behavior assistant while attending graduate school. Also, she taught at the Palm Beach School for Autism grades 2nd-5th.
She completed her undergraduate degree in Family and Child Science and Psychology at Florida State University in 2009. She has been working with children ages 0-18 for over 18 years and has experience working with adults in multiple settings through Florida’s Medwaiver program. She worked for a non-profit preschool for 2 years following FSU that specifically engaged an extremely impoverished area in West Palm Beach called Opportunity, Inc. She worked with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years and was the center’s “go-to” for potty training.

Amanda completed her Master’s in Education at Florida Atlantic University in 2014 specializing in ABA, Autism, and Early Childhood Intervention. Following graduate school, she taught at Allamanda Elementary School in Palm Beach Gardens in the 3rd-grade Autism cluster. She was team captain for Allamanda’s Autism Speaks team in 2015 and 2016, which raised money for the school selling custom t-shirts for the annual Autism Speaks Walk. She was also co-chair of Allamanda’s Healthy Choice program which included after school activities. Her involvement allowed students to connect with peers of all neuro-diversities and experienced a more relaxed atmosphere. Amanda believes in advocating for the quality of life for all of her client’s inclusion, and specifically targeting functional communication, independent living skills, grooming, and safety skills.
